This cake brought back memories from my freshman year of college. One of my roommates introduced me to Veggie Tales. She would always sing “Oh where is my hairbrush? Oh where is my hairbrush? Oh where, oh where, oh where, oh wheeeeere… is my hairbrush?”

This cake was created for 2 boys who love Veggie Tales and Larry Boy. The bottom tier is 9-inches and the top is 6-inches. I had a ton of fun making these characters come alive! Aren’t they so cute?!?

To Infinite… and Beyond!!

I made this Toy Story cake for a 3 year old little boy. Buzz Lightyear is his favorite character from the movie, so that’s why he deserved to be on top of the moon! The top tier is 6 inches and the bottom tier is 9 inches. Both cakes are vanilla with cookies and cream filling. All of the characters are from a figurine set except for the etch-a-sketch… I made him!

This cake was created with a fellow cake decorator. We got together and created this really cute frog cake for a little boy named Jackson.

arrrr matey!!

I had the opportunity to create a fun cake for a 4-year old named Anthony last week. Anthony was having a pirate themed party, so naturally, a really awesome pirate cake was requested!   I had been looking forward to baking and designing this cake for over a month and it turned out EXACTLY how I had imagined it! I had such a great time with this cake and I look forward to creating more fun and creative cakes!

The top tier was a 9-inch french vanilla cake, while the bottom was a 12-inch dark chocolate fudge. Cookies and cream filling were used in both cakes (which is my new favorite filling!) The chain and sword were made from gum paste, while most other decorations were fondant. The topper was made using my cricut and chocolate gold coins accented this masterpiece.

To go along with the cake, I made a batch of cupcakes! The cupcakes were filled with a hidden treasure inside (cotton candy icing or cookies and cream filling).
